The problem
Direct mail reaches every home on a route, but one small business has to pay for the entire mailer to do it, so most local businesses never use it. I wanted to fix the math.
What I built
I conceived it and built the whole thing: concept, brand, product design, the data model, the USPS®/EDDM® side, and the payment flow.
The mechanic
Local businesses share one premium 9×12 glossy mailer, sent via USPS® EDDM® to every address on a route. There are eight slots and one business per category, so you "own your category." You reserve a slot for free and pay nothing until all eight fill. Then it prints and ships. $500 puts you in front of ~5,000 homes, about ten cents a door. No fill, no charge, no risk.
Outcome
It is live: the first outreach mailing just went out, so this piece is about the model and the build, not results yet.
