Hi there, I'm Jason Stauffer.

I work in a thin overlap: most developers don't do design or brand, most designers can't build, and most builders won't own the data model, the integrations, and the servers. I do all of it.

I've been doing this for 20 years professionally. It started earlier, in 2000, with a site of my own: Nurck, a games-and-hardware publication. From 2006 I was IT Director and Principal Developer at PlannedGiving.com, building a custom SaaS CMS that served 900+ non-profits, including Yale, The Nature Conservancy, and the American Red Cross.

Today I'm a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on a Laravel ERP SaaS at HomeSource Systems, and I build and run my own products, which are in the Studio folder.

Daily work across Laravel internals: Eloquent modeling and query optimization, queued jobs and Redis-backed workers, middleware, service providers, events and broadcasting, and cache layers. Ship with PHPUnit coverage and contribute to the platform’s frontend migration to React / Next.js.
